Ivory Coast: Pro-Gbagdo detention

Last Friday, the ONUCI expressed her inquietude about detention’s conditions of President Gbagdo’s supporters. Indeed, experts from UNO noticed hard living condition for seven prisoners, among whom President’s son and they noticed that security wasn’t such a good one as well and, because of that, members from FRCI can enter in the buildings to threaten captives.
Furthermore, the situation still be worrying:  slaughter still be continued, and around 23 persons had been killed in Irobo, and 26 others victims had the same destiny. This is really revolting and the UN decided to prolong her action in Ivory Coast till august 2011.

"Even the rain" a comitted movie

« Even the rain » deal about Indian’s defenders, Spanish colonization and the water conflict in Cochabamba in 2000. I was immediately confronted with the similarities of those three themes. Struggle for existence never changed, and the clause of the laws which people are fighting for are quite the same, even if the fights have 400 years of gap.
This movie really made me things about what I believed in, and it made me sad. There are so much inequalities in our society. We can have whatever we want, we only must to push a switch and water is flowing, lights are shining. We can go to supermarket and buy what we want, even if we don’t need it.  And, somewhere, not so far from us, people are fighting against social injustices toward a better future to their children and grand-children even if they have to pay from their lives. Is that normal?
